Our history
2016: just the beginning
E-Contenta started as a service for personal content recommendation. We launched our first pilot project with a social ebook subscription service Bookmate. Our clients were also LitRes, Rutube, WiFire TV, Beeline TV. For this project, we attracted seed investments in the Untitled Ventures fund.
2017: our pivot
A year later we were invited to participate in the Starta и NYFTL accelerators. After getting feedback from the market and analyzing its needs we decided to launch our new product: a programmatic platform for content distribution.
2018: our own product
So we focused on native advertising and launched a programmatic platform for content distribution. Our product helped clients to publish their articles on more than 10.000 publishers' websites: from Cosmopolitan to Forbes.
2019: entering European market
As E-Contenta continued to grow, we had an opportunity to work with big market players from different areas: banking, real estate, telecommunication, etc. And it was time for us to scale and go to the European market. In 2019, the Simpact fund invested in us, and we opened an office in Warsaw.
2020: no time to sit around
With the whole world we found ourselves in the situation of isolation. But we did not stop working. On the contrary, we began to develop a new product. Discussing ideas, testing hypotheses, arguing every day.
2021: what's next?
Now we continue to develop products, create content, launch effective digital campaigns, and partner with agencies and brands. More is yet to come. And we will definitely talk about everything here :)
